H2B Program Timeline

From Application to Arrival:


Apply with TRC - Submit your resume through our website. Only apply through HIRING IMMEDIATELY if you can start your process before the 28th of each month. Apply through GENERAL HIRING if you’re not able to start immediately. You will still be scheduled for an interview.

Schedule An Interview - 15-minute interview with our team. If submitted by a member of our elite referral program, you can skip the interview and go straight to the visa application process.

Job Offer - Receive pre-offer letter within 24 hours. Review pre-offer letter, submit U.S. Embassy visa fee through our website and email us your completed DS-160 form. Please note both payment and the completed DS-160 form is needed to start the process.

Visa Application Submission -TRC uses the employer petition, your DS160 form and your  payment to submit the visa application to the U.S Embassy on your behalf. These are submitted in batches in order to expedite the process. You will recieve updates from us periodically

Visa Interview - When we recieve your interview date we will give you a packet with all the documents needed for your interview. TRC offers interview prep resources if requested. If there isn’t a U.S Embassy office in your country, the employer will cover flight and accommodations for you to go to the nearest U.S Embassy.

Visa Approval - Receive your H2B visa.

Travel to USA - Employer pays your flight and initial accommodation

Start Work - Begin your American journey!

Total Timeline: Typically 1-4 months from application to arrival
